The 24×30 is perfect when you want more depth than a standard 24×24 without stepping up to a full 30-foot width. Those extra 6 feet of depth turn a simple 2-car garage into a working garage — room to pull a long-bed truck in, walk around it, and still have space for a workbench along the back wall.
Every 24×30 we build uses 12-gauge galvanized tubular steel framing — with 29-gauge steel panels on the roof and sidewalls. Same components as our larger builds.
